About Thriving Minds
I’m Erin Todd — the owner of Thriving Minds Counseling, a private practice based in Colorado Springs. My approach consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My aim is to meet you where you are in your pursuit of change and guide you towards a greater understanding of yourself while finding practical, strengths-based coping skills that you can incorporate into your daily life.
I have been a therapist since 2016. I earned my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Akron. My initial work experience was at a non-profit community mental health agency in Ohio where I worked with individuals from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds. My most recent experience has been working at smaller and larger group practices that serve communities in Colorado. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a Victim's Advocate and Assistant Legal Advocate at a domestic violence shelter in Ohio.
